Nasty Women’s Arts Festival UK
In September 2017, CRIN partnered with Nasty Women UK, the national arm of the Nasty Women Global Art Movement, which started in New York to bring together artists to create resistance in the face of threats to roll back individual rights and act as a platform to organise.
The London programme CRIN took part in included an art exhibition, talks, workshops, Virtual Reality installations, DJ sets and comedy, with all proceeds going to the End Violence Against Women charity. For CRIN’s part, we exhibited several pieces of artwork, including a mural on discrimination, and organised a number of workshops for children and other visitors. The exhibition was also accompanied by a series of comedy, music and art performances and talks.
