Protest and activism resources

At CRIN, we believe in the power of nonviolent protest and action to change the world. We are inspired by movements past and present, big and small, of children and adults, who have changed or are changing society on issues from police violence to deforestation. Here we have compiled some of our favourite resources to support protest and activism. They offer practical advice and inspiration to anyone wanting to take action. “We who engage in nonviolent direct action are not the creators of tension. We merely bring to the surface the hidden tension that is already alive. We bring it out in the open, where it can be seen and dealt with.” - Martin Luther King Jr, ‘Letter from a Birmingham Jail’, 1963.
